COVID-19 (Coronavirus)
As a Church, we have been closely monitoring the outbreak of COVID-19 (Coronavirus) and following advice from Public Health England, as the well being of our congregation, staff and the community at large is our priority. We are taking the appropriate steps to safeguard those who we have a duty of care to, and with careful consideration, we have now put the following procedures in place, until further notice:
- From Sunday 22 March we will be no longer be gathering for Sunday services. We will be moving to Online services from this date (more information on the online services to follow)
- Prayer meetings, other mid-sized gatherings and small group meetings will also not be taking place for the foreseeable future. Again we will look to use where appropriate video technology to allow people to stay connected and in community.
Above all, let’s continue to pray for the situation locally, nationally and globally. Let’s pray for all those affected, and let’s pray that the situation is contained and managed quickly. Our God is above all things. We will use wisdom, take the appropriate counsel from the authorities, but we will not be moved by it.
